“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”
~Winston Churchill

There are always volunteer opportunities at the Animal Shelter. As a volunteer you’ll be able to spend time with our animals as they wait to find their forever home. Through the Shelter’s enrichment programs, our volunteers help the animals socialize and get some fun free time each day. Volunteers also help shelter staff ensure that the living environment for the animals in our care is safe and clean.

Join our great team of volunteers! To learn more about ways to get involved call our office.

Welcome to the Kitty’s Korner Reading Lounge! This program allows you to read to and relax with some of the shy cats that need it the most! Interested volunteers will be asked to dedicate their time reading to these cats and getting them used to being around different people.

Sound like something you are interested in? Join us Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm to read to the cats! Children ages 8-12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children ages 12 and up are welcome in the lounge by themselves
