Saratoga County’s Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council (LEICC) will hold it’s next meeting on Friday September, 20th, 2024 from 2pm-4pm. For more information or to RSVP please email. Please see the agenda for this meeting.
The LEICC is made up of a group of professionals and parents who are concerned with Early Intervention issues such as:
- The planning for delivery and evaluation of Early Intervention Services for eligible children and their families
- The identification of service delivery reforms necessary to promote the availability of Early Intervention Services within natural environments.
- Matters relating to Early Intervention Policies and Procedures within the Municipality
All members of the council are appointed by the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors annually. LEICC meetings are open to the public.
The LEICC is composed of parents and professionals who advise the Early Intervention Official about the system of early intervention services for infants and toddlers who have disabilities and developmental delays. Meetings are open to the public and all parents, providers of children’s services, and any other interested party.
The NYS Bureau of Early Intervention (BEI) also has an Early Intervention Coordinating Council (EICC). They list their membership info, upcoming meeting dates, and their meetings can be viewed live via webcast.
