Election Law § 4–102 mandates that Boards of Elections post maps and downloadable Shapefiles of relevant election districts to their websites. The downloadable digital file formats are compatible with geographic information system (GIS) software, such as shapefile, geodatabase, KML, or other similar vector based GIS file types.
